Dari Couspate: Revenue and Earnings Rise Despite a Tough Landscape
Moroccan food manufacturer Dari Couspate has released its provisional financial figures for the period ending June 2019. The company recorded total sales of MAD 286.02 million in the first six months of the year, representing a 3.16 % increase over the same period in 2018.
In the second quarter alone, revenue climbed to MAD 135.4 million, up 2.9 % from Q2 2018. These results suggest that Dari Couspate managed to sustain its market share and generate modest growth despite broader macro‑economic headwinds affecting the Moroccan consumer sector.
Management highlighted that the modest rise in sales was driven by stable demand for its core product lines and effective cost‑control measures, which helped keep profit margins intact.
The company’s performance will be monitored closely by investors looking for resilient domestic players in a region facing inflationary pressures and slower consumer spending.
