Disway delivers robust Q1 2026 results with double-digit growth in every key metric

Disway closed the first half of 2026 with impressive financial performance across its core operations. The Moroccan IT distribution leader posted consolidated revenue of 1.089 billion dirhams, marking a 14% year-over-year increase from 952 million dirhams in H1 2025. This growth trajectory was largely driven by expanding international activities and stronger market penetration in its domestic market.

Profitability Soars on Operational Excellence

  • Operating profit climbed to 77 million dirhams, up 33% from 58 million in H1 2025
  • Net profit surged 20% to 60 million dirhams (RNPG), compared to 50 million the previous year
  • Cost control measures helped offset rising external expenses

The company attributed its improved bottom-line results to rigorous management of cost of sales and careful provisioning, which effectively contained the impact of increasing other operating costs. Despite a decline in financial results during the period, the company maintained strong overall profitability through disciplined operational execution.

Balance Sheet Strengthened by Growth Phase

  • Total consolidated balance reached 1.517 billion dirhams at June 2026
  • 15% YoY increase primarily from higher inventory levels and increased client receivables
  • Global financing remains solid at 66% equity funding

While asset growth was driven by stock accumulation and extended payment terms with clients, the company maintained financial stability through its strong equity base and prudent capital structure management.

Strategic Expansion Roadmap

For the remainder of 2026, Disway plans to accelerate its regional expansion strategy with particular focus on West Africa. The company also intends to capitalize on new high-value growth opportunities while leveraging its dominant position in Morocco's IT distribution market. This dual approach aims to balance organic growth with strategic market penetration across emerging African economies.
