AMMC Issues 4 New Fund Licenses and 19 OPCVM Approvals in May 2026
The Moroccan Capital Market Authority (AMMC) announced that it granted four new fund licences and a total of 19 OPCVM visas during May 2026. The approvals, which span short‑term bond, money‑market and diversified funds, underline a steady flow of activity in the country’s collective‑investment segment. Key players such as WAFA Gestion, BMCE Capital Gestion and several other asset managers received the authorisations, signalling confidence in Morocco’s growing fund market.

The Moroccan Capital Market Authority (AMMC) released its monthly list of fund authorisations for May 2026. In total, the regulator issued four new licences and 19 OPCVM visas to a range of asset‑management firms, confirming a lively pace of activity in the collective‑investment arena.
Scope of the May authorisations
Four new fund licences were awarded to WAFA Gestion. The licences cover:
- CDM LIQUIDITES – a short‑term bond fund
- CDM OBLIG PLUS – another short‑term bond fund
- CDM CASH – a money‑market fund
- CAPITAL PERFORMANCE – a diversified fund
These licences were granted on 21 – 22 May 2026.
19 OPCVM visas were also issued, spanning equity, medium‑ and long‑term bond, diversified and monetary categories. The visas were distributed among several managers, including:
- BMCE Capital Gestion
- Saham Capital Gestion
- Alphavest Asset Management
- Quantum Capital Gestion
- Atlas Capital Management
- Twin Capital Gestion
- Advisory and Finance Asset Management
These approvals highlight the continued confidence of the AMMC in Morocco’s fund industry and the diversification of products available to investors.
