TotalEnergies Anticipates Stronger Q2 Earnings as Oil Prices Surge Amid Middle East Tensions
TotalEnergies said on Thursday that the price rally caused by the ongoing conflict in the Middle East is likely to lift its second‑quarter results, although its LNG trading revenue is expected to fall sharply due to weak market demand. The company forecasts near‑steady oil production of about 2.4 million barrels of oil equivalent per day and a cash‑flow boost of roughly €1 billion versus the previous quarter.
