Casablanca Stock Exchange Ends H1 with MASI Up 0.9% on June 30, Yet Still Down 3.3% YTD
The Casablanca Stock Exchange finished the first half of 2026 on a positive note, with the flagship MASI index gaining 0.91% to reach 18,217.27 points. Even though the index remains 3.34% lower than its January start, the second‑quarter performance was strong, posting a 6.16% increase. The broader MASI20 index also rose 0.53%. Trading volume was modest at 376 million dirhams, led by Managem (231 million dirhams, +5.47%) and Bank of Africa (BCP) (43 million dirhams, +3.46%). Cosumar topped the gainers with an 8.76% jump, while CTM suffered the biggest drop of the day at -6.46%. The market’s total capitalisation now stands at 1,043 billion dirhams.
