Mohamed Saad Takes the Helm of AUSIM for 2026‑2028, Unveils Bold ‘BOLD, BRAVE, FORWARD’ Vision

On February 27, 2026, the Association of Information Systems Users in Morocco (AUSIM) elected Mohamed Saad, Deputy General Manager of the Casablanca Stock Exchange, as its new president for the 2026‑2028 term. Saad, who succeeds Hicham Chiguer, introduced the ambitious “BOLD, BRAVE, FORWARD” agenda, aiming to turn technology into a catalyst for inclusive, sustainable and sovereign growth in line with Morocco Digital 2030. Supported by a reinforced board of industry leaders—including senior figures from the Moroccan Retirement Fund and Lyazidi & Fils Insurance—Saad pledges to make AUSIM a decisive driver of the nation’s digital strategy while fostering collaboration across the Moroccan IT ecosystem.

Mohamed Saad Elected President of AUSIM (2026‑2028)

The Association of Information Systems Users in Morocco (AUSIM) held its Ordinary General Assembly in Casablanca. Following the vote, Mohamed Saad, Deputy General Manager of the Casablanca Stock Exchange, was elected President for the 2026‑2028 mandate.

A Bold Vision: "BOLD, BRAVE, FORWARD"

Long‑time AUSIM member Saad succeeds Hicham Chiguer with a clear ambition to elevate the association to new heights. Under the motto "BOLD, BRAVE, FORWARD", the new term aims to harness technology as an inclusive, sustainable and sovereign growth lever for Morocco, fully aligned with the national strategy Morocco Digital 2030.

"The adrenaline of association work is unique. Together with a board of experts, I aim to turn AUSIM into not just a forum for exchange, but a decisive player in the country’s digital strategies," declared Saad.

Reinforced Executive Board for Impactful Transformation

Saad will be supported by a team of distinguished professionals, including two sector leaders:

  • Mohamed Essaidi – Head of IT & Digital Transformation at the Moroccan Retirement Fund
  • Rachid Baarbi – CDIO of Lyazidi & Sons Insurance

Alongside eight other elected members, they form a board that reflects the diversity and excellence of Morocco’s IT ecosystem.
