Following its mixed general meeting on June 4, 2026, S2M’s supervisory board announced the elevation of Mohamed Amarti‑Riffi to the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors.

Strategic implications

The payment‑technology specialist says the move is part of an accelerated growth programme aimed at widening its international footprint and expanding its product suite amid rapid sector‑wide tech transformations.

Board reshuffle

Rachid Abou El Bal will join the supervisory board as a member after steering S2M’s global development. Amina Figuigui was approved as an independent board member and will chair the Audit & Risk Committee.

Executive team upgrades

  • Ahmed Khalil – Vice President, Revenue & Growth, responsible for commercial development, strategic partnerships and overseas expansion.
  • Marouane Louah – Vice President, Technology, tasked with driving the group’s tech strategy and innovation.
  • Expanded responsibilities for Omar Masnaoui (VP Corporate) and Mohammed Chami Khazraji (VP Product).
