February 2025 Cement Deliveries in Morocco

The Ministry of Territorial Development, Urban Planning, Housing and City Policy reports that total cement deliveries reached 2.092 million tonnes by the end of February 2025, marking a 15.81 % decline compared with the same month a year earlier.

Breakdown by end‑use segment shows:

  • Distribution: approx. 1.080 MT (‑21.10 % YoY)
  • Ready‑mix concrete (BPE): about 558,667 t
  • Pre‑cast concrete (PREFA): roughly 217,497 t
  • Building sector: 70,646 t
  • Infrastructure projects: 155,322 t
  • Mortars: 10,415 t

In the month of February alone, deliveries amounted to 1.048 million tonnes, down 12.63 % from February 2024. For reference, January 2025 deliveries were 1.044 million tonnes, an 18.78 % drop from the same month in 2024.

The downward trend is largely attributed to unfavorable weather conditions that have hampered construction activity across the country.
