Dari Couspate Posts Steady Revenue Rise in First Half 2019

The Moroccan food products group Dari Couspate disclosed its provisional financial statements for the period ending June 30, 2019. The company recorded a turnover of 286.02 million dirhams (MDH), marking a 3.16% increase compared with the first half of 2018.

Breaking down the figures, the second quarter generated 135.4 MDH, up 2.9% year-on-year. This growth was achieved despite a challenging macroeconomic environment marked by volatile commodity prices and subdued consumer demand.

Management highlighted that the improvement was driven by stronger sales in core couscous and pasta lines, along with cost‑control measures that helped preserve margins.

Analysts view the results as a sign of operational resilience, suggesting that Dari Couspate is well positioned to capture market share once the broader economic climate stabilizes.
