Afric Industries Reports 5% Sales Growth in H1 2026, Driven by Abrasives
Afric Industries posted a 33% jump in Q2 sales, lifting its first‑half 2026 revenue to 22.49 million MAD – a 5% increase year‑on‑year. Quarter‑2 2026 Sales Surge
In the second quarter of 2026, Afric Industries posted net sales of 14.009 million MAD, up 33% compared with the same period last year.
First‑Half 2026 Overview
Combined sales for the first half reached 22.49 million MAD, a 5% increase over H1 2025. The growth was largely driven by an 11% rise in abrasive product sales, while aluminium accessory sales fell 17%.
Capital Expenditures
Q2 investments amounted to 125 kMAD, 5% higher than the 119 kMAD invested a year earlier, mainly for refurbishing the administrative building’s waterproofing. Cumulative H1 investments reached 133 kMAD, up 5% from the previous year.
Cash Position
At the end of June 2026, the company’s cash balance was a negative 140,000 MAD, reversing the positive 273,000 MAD balance reported a year earlier, following dividend distribution.
