Market Overview

Friday’s trading session gave the Casablanca Stock Exchange a much‑needed lift after three straight days of decline. The MASI index rose steadily, ending the day at 17,952.37 points, a gain of 1.86%.

On a weekly basis the index is still down 3.06%, and year‑to‑date it trails by 4.74%. Total turnover was modest, with roughly MAD 232 million exchanged across the main market.

Top‑Traded Shares

  • Managem led the volume chart with MAD 36 million traded, closing up 2.36% at MAD 13,635.
  • Attijariwafa Bank followed with MAD 32 million and a 2.26% rise to MAD 680.
  • Label Vie accounted for MAD 30 million, remaining flat at MAD 3,800.

Biggest Gainers

  • CMT surged 9.98% to MAD 4,551, recouping some of the losses from earlier sessions.
  • Delta Holding rose 8.57% to MAD 57.88.
  • Sothema also climbed 8.57%, ending at MAD 380.

Overall, the market’s short‑term momentum turned positive, driven by a handful of strong performers and a modest but steady flow of capital.
