ONCF Announces 400 Million Dirham Tender to Build Nine New Suburban Stations in Casablanca
The National Office of Railways (ONCF) has opened a tender valued at nearly 400 million Moroccan dirhams to construct nine new railway stations across the Casablanca metropolitan area. The contract is part of the Regional Express Network (RER) initiative, which seeks to broaden the suburban rail system and improve commuter connectivity. The stations – ranging from Mohammédia Facultés to Nouaceur Ville Nouvelle – will strengthen the local rail mesh, support the upcoming RER line, and stimulate economic activity in the surrounding districts.
