Trading activity on the Casablanca Stock Exchange remained subdued on Monday, April 27, 2026, as the MASI index closed nearly unchanged, reflecting cautious investor sentiment.
The index gained a marginal 0.02% to settle at 18,819.61 points after flirting with positive territory during the session. Total market participation remained limited, with aggregate volumes reaching just over 165 Million Dirhams (MDH).
The MASI 20 index, focusing on the top 20 stocks, declined by 0.31% to 1,373.34 points, while the total capitalization stood firm at 1.075 trillion dirhams. In terms of trading volume, Attijariwafa Bank dominated the list with 15 MDH, up 0.41%, followed by Managem with 13 MDH (nearly flat +0.06%), and CFG Bank rounding out the podium with 11 MDH.
On the performance front, SRM was the session’s star, surging 7.50% to 513 DH. It was closely followed by Rebab Company, which rose 5.96% to 104.90 DH. Conversely, Zellidja suffered the steepest decline, plunging 5.96% to 221 DH.
