CTM Secures 10-Year Urban Transport Contract in Tetouan with 194 New Buses
CTM announced that its subsidiary Issal Tetouan has been awarded a 10‑year public‑transport concession for bus services by the inter‑municipal cooperation body Achamal Al Gharbi. This extends the provisional management that began in November 2023, ensuring uninterrupted service. Under the new deal, Issal Tetouan will introduce up to 194 new buses to upgrade the network across the service area. The operation, formerly known as Issal Madina, will now be branded as Issal Tetouan, reflecting its long‑term role. The joint venture between CTM and Transdev Maroc leverages both partners’ expertise to modernise urban transport, strengthening CTM’s presence in three Moroccan cities, including Tangier and Fez.

This award reinforces CTM’s presence in the urban mobility sector, bringing its operating cities to three, including Tangier and Fez.
