Morocco Announces Massive 361‑Zone Mining Tender Covering 13,000 km²
The Ministry of Energy Transition and Sustainable Development has issued a public call for competition covering 361 mining zones across the Tafilalet and Figuig basins. Spanning roughly 13,000 km², the tender is one of the largest single‑procedure allocations in the country, aiming to attract structured projects in a region known for precious and base metals. Applicants must submit proposals by 15 May 2026, 16:30, to the regional directorates in Errachidia or Oujda.
