The Treasury announced that on 3 February it successfully placed DH1.9 billion of two‑year Treasury bills, despite receiving a total of DH11.45 billion in applications, according to the Direction of Treasury and External Finance (DTFE).
The bills were issued at an annual yield of 2.732 %, virtually unchanged from previous auctions, suggesting a temporary easing of short‑term market tension while investor appetite remains strong.
Settlement of the subscribed bills is scheduled for Monday, 5 February.
