RISMA signs preliminary agreement to buy Bavaro Hotel in Dakhla

On April 29, 2026, RISMA announced that it entered into a provisional sale contract with Les Villas de la Lagune, a company belonging to the MPS Dakhla tourism group. The agreement covers the acquisition of the four‑star Bavaro Hotel, which is already operating on the lagoon in Dakhla, together with adjacent parcels of land.

The total consideration for the hotel and the neighboring land is estimated at 85 million Moroccan dirhams (MAD). The transaction is conditional on obtaining clearance from the Moroccan Competition Council.

Once the approval is secured and the deal closes later in 2026, RISMA plans to re‑brand the property under an internationally recognised hotel chain. The new flagship will highlight the unique natural environment of the Dakhla lagoon while contributing to the overall attraction of the region as a premier tourist destination.

  • Buyer: RISMA
  • Seller: Les Villas de la Lagune (part of MPS Dakhla)
  • Asset: Bavaro 4‑star hotel + adjoining land
  • Deal size: 85 M MAD
  • Regulatory step: Approval from the Competition Council

Further updates will be released once the transaction is finalized.
