Casablanca Stock Exchange MASI Surges Past 18,300 Points, Extending a Four‑Day Rally
The Casablanca Stock Exchange recorded a fourth consecutive session in the green on Wednesday, with the MASI index climbing 1.48% to 18,329.91 points. The broader MASI‑20 index also rose, gaining 0.58% to 1,330.43 points, while trading volume on the main market reached 157 million Moroccan dirhams. Leading the deal flow, Managem topped the list with 40 million MAD in transactions, followed by Marsa Maroc and Itissalat Al‑Maghrib. Top performers of the day included SNEP and Fenie Brossette, each posting gains of nearly 10%. The Casablanca Stock Exchange continued its upward trend on Wednesday, delivering a fourth straight day of gains. The MASI index rose by 1.48% to close at 18,329.91 points, narrowing its annual underperformance to just 2.74%. The broader MASI‑20 index, which captures the market's largest caps, also moved higher, up 0.58% to 1,330.43 points.
Trading Activity
Overall trading remained modest, with a total volume of 157 million Moroccan dirhams (MAD) on the central market. The most active shares were:
- Managem – led the trade flow with 40 million MAD in transactions. After a 9.92% jump the previous day, the stock added another 9.95% gain to finish at 1,583 MAD.
- Marsa Maroc – recorded 20 million MAD of trading and climbed 1.05% to close at 869 MAD.
- Itissalat Al‑Maghrib – rounded out the top three with 12 million MAD and a 1.54% rise to 96.27 MAD.
Top Performers
Among the biggest gainers, SNEP and Fenie Brossette each posted a 9.98% increase, reaching 347.55 MAD and 324.45 MAD respectively. SMI also featured among the top five movers, jumping 6.88% to 6,787 MAD.

At the close of the session, the total market capitalization of the Casablanca Stock Exchange stood at approximately 1.073 trillion MAD, reflecting continued investor confidence.
