Casablanca Stock Exchange's MASI Index Extends Losses on Wednesday
The Casablanca Stock Exchange posted a second straight session in the red on Wednesday, with the flagship MASI index slipping 0.83% to 18,113.11 points. The broader MASI 20 index also fell, deepening its annual decline, while trading volumes stayed modest and a handful of stocks showed notable moves.

Market Overview
The Casablanca Stock Exchange recorded a second consecutive day of losses on Wednesday. The benchmark MASI index closed at 18,113.11 points, down 0.83%, extending its year‑to‑date decline to 3.89%.
Large‑Cap Index
The MASI 20, which tracks the market’s biggest caps, slipped 1.08% to 1,306.24 points, widening its annual drop to 12.08%.
Trading Volume
Total turnover remained modest at around MAD 220 million. Attijariwafa Bank led the activity with MAD 31 million traded, its share price at MAD 675.00, down 1.53%. Banque Centrale Populaire (BCP) followed with MAD 19.6 million and a price of MAD 230.00, down 4.09%. SMI fell 1.35% to MAD 8,745 after exchanging MAD 19 million.

- BMCI dropped 6.39% to MAD 557.00.
