Morocco’s Auto Market Starts 2026 with a Nearly 40% Sales Jump
January 2026 saw a remarkable rebound for Morocco’s automotive sector, with private passenger‑car sales climbing 38.98% year‑on‑year to 18,261 units. Light commercial vehicle registrations also rose, up 16.25% to 2,160 units. In total, 20,421 vehicles were sold in the month, representing a 36.17% increase compared with the same period last year.
