Sanlam Maroc Posts 19.6% Revenue Surge to MAD 4.1 Billion in H1 2026

Strong Half-Year Performance

Sanlam Maroc has reported a robust expansion in its business activity during the first half of 2026. As of the end of June, the company's total revenue reached MAD 4,103 million, compared to MAD 3,430 million in the same period of the previous fiscal year, representing an increase of 19.6%.

Life Insurance Drives Exceptional Growth

This performance was notably driven by the exceptional contribution of the Life insurance branch, alongside continued growth momentum in Non-Life activities. The Non-Life segment recorded a 5.9% increase over the period.

Second-Quarter Momentum

During the second quarter of 2026, Sanlam Maroc achieved total revenue of MAD 1,826 million, an improvement of 35.3% compared to the same period in 2025.

Technical Provisions and Investments on the Rise

  • Net technical provisions (after reinsurers' share) stood at MAD 16,786 million at the end of June 2026, up from MAD 15,631 million at the end of December 2025, a 7.4% increase.
  • Investments allocated to insurance operations reached MAD 18,880 million at the end of June 2026, compared to MAD 17,960 million at the end of December 2025, reflecting a 5.1% rise.
