Akdital’s Saudi Arm Secures $100 Million International Funding to Fuel Hospital Expansion
Akdital’s Saudi subsidiary, Akdital Hospitals, has closed a $100 million international fund‑raising round led by Mediterrania Capital Partners. The money will back a multi‑billion‑riyal plan to build and operate new hospitals in Riyadh, Mecca, Jeddah and Medina, targeting more than 1,000 beds. The deal complements a recent 1.2 billion‑dirham bond issued in Morocco, together providing the financial firepower needed for the group’s global expansion agenda.

International Funding Secured
Akdital Hospitals, the Saudi‑based holding of Morocco’s Akdital Group, successfully closed a $100 million international fundraising round. The transaction was led by Mediterrania Capital Partners (MCP) and its president, Saad Bendidi, who acted on behalf of Akdital’s global expansion strategy.
Complementary Local Bond Issue
The $100 million raise follows a domestic bond issuance in Morocco worth 1.2 billion dirhams, completed in November. Both financings are aligned with the group’s strategic objective of securing sufficient capital for its worldwide development plan.
