Casablanca Stock Exchange Turns Green: MASI Rebounds, Weekly Losses Erased
The Casablanca Stock Exchange ended Friday on a positive note, with the flagship MASI index rising 0.43% to 17,743 points and wiping out its prior weekly decline. The broader MASI 20 followed suit, climbing 0.87% and posting a 1.12% weekly gain, while trading volumes reached 164 million dirhams.

On Friday 24 July 2026 the Casablanca Stock Exchange showed a clear upward bias. The primary index (MASI) closed at 17,743 points, up 0.43%, wiping out the week’s earlier decline and delivering a weekly gain of 0.93%.
The broader MASI 20 followed suit, gaining 0.87% to finish at 1,317.16 points and posting a 1.12% rise for the week.
Trading activity
Total cash‑market turnover reached 164 million Moroccan dirhams.
Top volume leader was Marsa Maroc, with 21 million dirhams exchanged and the share price rising 2.33% to MAD 880. Maroc Telecom and Holmarcom rounded out the volume podium with 21 million and 18 million dirhams respectively.
Top performers
The biggest intraday gain belonged to Zellidja, which surged 9.97% to MAD 203.45, followed by Jet Contractors up 4.55% to MAD 2,070.
Index performance
Among the sub‑indices, the MASI ESG led the pack with a 1.76% weekly increase, while the MASI Mid remained virtually flat, up only 0.01%.
