Casablanca Stock Exchange's MASI Holds Steady with Minimal Change on Thursday
The Casablanca Stock Exchange closed Thursday’s session virtually flat, with the MASI index slipping just 0.03 points to 18,819.08, translating to a modest –0.14% change year‑to‑date. Trading volume was modest at about MAD 217 million, led by Managem, while Alliances posted the biggest intra‑day gain of 6.85%.

The Casablanca Stock Exchange (CSE) ended Thursday’s trading session almost unchanged. The MASI benchmark index slipped marginally by 0.03 points, settling at 18,819.08, which translates to a year‑to‑date decline of ‑0.14%.
Overall market activity was moderate, with total turnover reaching roughly MAD 217 million. Among the most active stocks, Managem led the pack, processing MAD 39 million in trades and closing unchanged at 1,700 DH. Close behind was Cosumar, which slipped 0.43% to 195.65 DH on a similar volume of MAD 39 million. Alliances rounded out the top three with MAD 29 million exchanged.
In terms of price movement, Alliances posted the session’s biggest gain, soaring 6.85% to 424.20 DH. Rebab Company also rose sharply, up 5.99% at 98.57 DH. On the downside, Auto Nejma recorded the steepest decline, shedding 5.30% to close at 5,303 DH.
