MASI Index Breaks 18,400 Points
The Casablanca Stock Exchange continued its bullish run on Thursday, delivering a fifth straight session with the market in the green. The flagship MASI index finished at 18,479.44 points, up 0.82%, after touching the same level intraday. Year‑to‑date, the index is up 1.95%.
MASI‑20 Mirrors the Momentum
The MASI‑20, which tracks the most liquid large‑cap stocks, rose to 1,341.75 points, reflecting a 0.85% gain since the start of the year.
Trading Activity
Overall market activity remained modest, with a total traded value of 283.5 million Moroccan dirhams (MAD) on the main board.
Top Traded Stocks
- Managem led the volume list with 45 million MAD traded, up 0.32% to 1,588 MAD per share.
- Marsa Maroc followed with 30 million MAD, slipping 0.13% to 867.90 MAD.
- IAM rounded out the top three with 25 million MAD, gaining 2.32% to 98.50 MAD.
Biggest Gainers
- Fénie Brossette surged nearly 10% to close at 356.85 MAD.
- Involys climbed 9.96% to 137.45 MAD.
