Saham Bank continues its expansion trajectory with impressive first-half 2026 results. The financial institution reported consolidated net banking income of 3.36 billion dirhams, marking an 8.5% increase compared to the same period in 2025.
Diversified Revenue Growth Across Business Lines
The bank's performance was driven by strength across multiple revenue streams. Net interest margin expanded by 6.5% to reach 2.131 billion dirhams, supported primarily by growing financing activities and resilient commercial margins.
Fee and commission income demonstrated particularly strong momentum, surging 12.9% to 962 million dirhams. According to bank management, this growth reflects the successful deployment of value-added services to the customer base. Market operations also contributed positively, with related income increasing 4.8% to 131 million dirhams.
On a standalone basis, the bank's net banking income showed even stronger acceleration, climbing 10.3% to reach 2.938 billion dirhams.
Commercial Activity Maintains Positive Momentum
Customer-facing business metrics remained healthy throughout the period. Customer loans reached 88.7 billion dirhams at the end of June, representing 8.1% growth, while customer deposits stood at 88 billion dirhams, up 4.4%.
Digital Transformation Accelerates
The first half of 2026 marked significant progress in Saham Bank's digital capabilities. The institution launched fully online account opening with a streamlined five-minute process, alongside digital consumer credit applications. Additionally, the bank introduced an innovative deposit certificate product indexed to the performance of international financial assets.

Looking toward the second half of 2026, Saham Bank management emphasized continued investment in innovation and digitalization while maintaining the bank's profitable growth trajectory.
