Hicham Meziane Appointed New CEO of Cartier Saada – Strategic Leadership Shift
Cartier Saada SA announced that Hicham Meziane, a 39‑year‑old finance veteran with a background in audit and structured‑finance control, will become the company's Chief Executive Officer on 11 December 2025. The transition follows a board decision that also acknowledges the 31‑year contribution of outgoing CEO Mly Hassan Debbarh Mounir, who will stay on as a strategic advisor. Meziane’s career spans roles at Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking and a decade of progressive leadership at Cartier Saada, including stints as Deputy CEO and Delegated CEO.

New CEO Appointed
Cartier Saada SA announced today that Hicham Meziane, aged 39, will assume the role of Chief Executive Officer effective December 11, 2025. The appointment follows a Board of Directors decision on December 10 and marks the end of a 31‑year tenure for outgoing CEO Mly Hassan Debbarh Mounir, whom the board thanked for his long‑standing dedication.
Mr. Meziane holds a degree from Toulouse Business School with a specialization in internal audit and management control. He began his professional journey as a Dedicated Financial Officer at Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking (SGCIB) in Paris, where he was responsible for management‑control of structured finance operations worldwide.
Joining Cartier Saada in 2012, he initially oversaw development, management‑control, and the information‑system function, steering various investment projects and expanding the company’s international commercial footprint. After holding several strategic positions, he was appointed Deputy CEO by the Board in 2019 and then Delegated CEO at the beginning of 2025 before taking the top post.
Beyond his corporate duties, Mr. Meziane is active in the nonprofit sector, serving as Vice‑President of the Association of Companies of Sidi Ghanem, the industrial district of Marrakech.
