Morocco Treasury Raises 3.15 Billion Dirhams in Final 2025 Bond Auction – Strong Investor Demand
On 30 December 2025 the Moroccan Treasury concluded its year‑end funding programme by issuing MAD 3.15 billion of short‑term government securities. The auction, which included two 26‑week lines and one 2‑year line, attracted MAD 9.08 billion of bids, signalling robust appetite from the market. This follows a recent repurchase operation of MAD 11 billion of Treasury bills that helped calm the bond market in the final weeks of the year.

Final 2025 Treasury Auction
The Moroccan Treasury successfully raised MAD 3.15 billion on 30 December 2025, marking the last bond issuance of the calendar year.
All three issues were short‑term:
- MAD 200 million at a 26‑week maturity, priced at 2.15 %.
- MAD 700 million at a 26‑week maturity, priced at 2.20 %.
- MAD 2.25 billion at a 2‑year maturity, priced at 2.50 %.
Investor demand reached MAD 9.08 billion, indicating a comfortable oversubscription for the final auction.
Recent Treasury Repurchase
Just a week earlier, the Treasury repurchased MAD 11 billion of Treasury bills as part of its active domestic‑debt‑management strategy, helping to ease market pressure toward year‑end.
