Program Overview
Under the leadership of Khalid Safir, General Director of the Caisse de Dépôt et de Gestion (CDG) and President of the Foundation, the second edition of Digit@ction came to a close at the CDG headquarters in Rabat on July 10, 2026.
From Bootcamp to Hackathon
The journey was divided into two key phases. The Bootcamp on July 7 helped each participating NGO clarify its digital vision and define concrete impact goals. The following two days, July 8‑9, featured a Hackathon organized with DXC‑CDG, turning ideas into workable solutions. Experts from the CDG Group, acting as mentors under a skill‑based volunteering scheme, assisted teams in refining business models, deployment strategies, and drafting a Special Prescription Document.
Selection of Winners
A panel of industry experts evaluated all submissions and selected six projects based on three criteria:
- Relevance of the social need addressed
- Innovativeness of the digital solution
- Potential for measurable impact
The chosen initiatives will receive dedicated financial grants and ongoing mentorship to accelerate their rollout.
Foundation’s Mission
This edition highlights the CDG Foundation’s commitment to strengthening the third sector by mobilizing CDG Group’s expertise for greater social impact.
