Market Overview

The Casablanca Stock Exchange continued its upward momentum on Friday. The flagship MASI index posted a gain of 0.35%, closing at 18,369.69 points. This narrowed the annual under‑performance to -2.53%, while the weekly decline was limited to -0.27%.

Similarly, the MASI 20 sub‑index rose 0.35% to finish at 1,323.09 points.

Trading Activity

Overall market participation remained limited, with total turnover amounting to 155 million Moroccan dirhams (MAD). The most active stock was Managem, which saw 22 million MAD of shares change hands, pushing its price to 15,095.00 MAD (+1.65%). Close behind, Attijariwafa Bank recorded 20 million MAD in volume, ending the session at 683.50 MAD (+0.51%).
