Fenie Brossette Acquires Sopriam’s Agadir Operations, Deepening Stellantis Partnership
On July 14, 2026, Fenie Brossette signed a definitive agreement to purchase the commercial assets of Sopriam – a Stellantis subsidiary – in Agadir. The deal covers the sale of new and used vehicles, spare parts, repair and maintenance services, and includes the distribution of Peugeot, Citroën, DS Automobiles and Leapmotor brands. The move strengthens an existing strategic partnership with Stellantis that already spans the distribution of FIAT, Alfa Romeo, Jeep and Abarth in the southern region of Morocco. The transaction is subject to standard regulatory approvals, especially clearance from the Moroccan Competition Council, and is expected to be completed within the 2026 fiscal year. Fenie Brossette secures acquisition of Sopriam’s Agadir automotive business
On 14 July 2026, Fenie Brossette announced the signing of a purchase agreement for the commercial portfolio of Sopriam – the Moroccan subsidiary of the global automotive group Stellantis – located in Agadir. The deal encompasses the full spectrum of activities related to the sale of new and used cars, spare‑parts distribution, as well as repair and maintenance services.
The acquisition includes the distribution rights for the following Stellantis brands operating in the southern part of the Kingdom: Peugeot, Citroën, DS Automobiles and Leapmotor. All associated after‑sales services (SAV) are transferred to Fenie Brossette as part of the transaction.
Strategic partnership with Stellantis deepens
This move builds on an already successful partnership that sees Fenie Brossette handling the distribution of FIAT, Alfa Romeo, Jeep and Abarth in the Agadir region. The new agreement demonstrates Stellantis’ renewed confidence in Fenie Brossette’s capability to expand the presence of its brands across Morocco.
Regulatory conditions and timeline
The completion of the transaction remains contingent upon the satisfaction of customary suspensive conditions, notably the prior approval of the Moroccan Competition Council. The parties expect the deal to be fully closed during the 2026 fiscal year. In line with public‑offering regulations, Fenie Brossette will issue a formal press release once the acquisition is finalised.
Executive comment
"This transaction permanently strengthens our position in the southern automotive distribution market and validates our diversification strategy. It continues the mutual trust built with Stellantis over more than twelve years," said Brahim Chamar, President‑CEO of Fenie Brossette.
