Casablanca Stock Exchange Ends February 4 Session Flat Amid Mixed Activity
The Casablanca Stock Exchange (CSE) closed its February 4 session with the main MASI index hovering around the 18,450‑point level, showing virtually no directional bias. Trading volume picked up to roughly 384 million Moroccan dirhams, led by Delta Holding, Attijariwafa Bank and Jet Contractors. While the broad market remained flat, a handful of stocks – notably Oulmès, Managem and IB Maroc – posted solid gains, pushing the total market capitalization past the 1 trillion‑dirham mark.

Indices end the day largely unchanged
The main MASI index edged up 0.06% to finish at 18,450.76 points, limiting its year‑to‑date decline to -2.10%. The MASI‑20, however, slipped 0.17% to close at 1,427.67 points, taking its annual performance to -3.90%.
Trading activity
Overall turnover rose to 384.66 million MAD, almost entirely on the central market (384.59 million MAD). The most active shares were:
- Delta Holding: ~48 million MAD traded, price up 0.71% at 70.5 MAD.
- Attijariwafa Bank: ~41 million MAD traded, price barely changed +0.08% at 728.6 MAD.
- Jet Contractors: ~38 million MAD traded, price down 0.75% at 2,630 MAD.
Top gainers
- Oulmès surged 5.92% to close at 1,235 MAD.
- Managem rose 3.21% to 8,050 MAD.
- IB Maroc climbed 3.02% to 67.99 MAD.
Market size
At the end of the session, the total market capitalisation stood at 1,028.5 billion MAD.
