Morocco's Manufacturing Sector Records 0.3% Rise in Producer Prices for November 2025
According to the Haut‑Commissariat au Plan (HCP), Morocco’s non‑oil‑refining manufacturing price index climbed 0.3 % in November 2025 compared with October. The rise was driven mainly by higher prices in the chemical industry, mineral product manufacturing and food processing, while metalworking and textiles saw price drops. The extractive sector’s index edged up marginally, and utilities such as electricity and water remained flat.

The High Commission for Planning (HCP) released its latest Industrial Producer Price Index (IPPIEM) showing a modest 0.3 % rise in the manufacturing sector that excludes oil refining.
- Chemical industry: +1.8 %
- Other non‑metallic mineral products: +0.8 %
- Food industry: +0.2 %
- Metallurgy: –1.3 %
- Textile industry: –1.3 %
The extractive industries (+0.1 %) posted a slight increase, while the producer price indices for electricity and water remained unchanged throughout the month.
