Iran Warns of Consequences for Countries Joining U.S. Sanctions
On Monday, Iran’s foreign ministry spokesperson Esmaïl Baghaï cautioned that nations aligning with U.S. economic pressure against the Islamic Republic would inevitably face consequences.
Speaking at a weekly press conference, Baghaï said the necessary warnings had already been delivered, stressing that any cooperation with Washington in implementing its aggressive actions toward Iran would surely bring its own repercussions.
The remarks came ahead of an anticipated announcement from Washington later in the day regarding new measures designed to further isolate Iran’s economy.
