Morocco Treasury Raises DH2.82bn, Focuses 73% of Issuance on 5‑Year Bonds
On July 17, 2026, the Moroccan Treasury auctioned DH 2.82 billion of government securities, satisfying just under half of total demand. Approximately three‑quarters of the allocation went to the 5‑year maturity, priced at a ceiling rate of 2.9714%. The operation led to modest shifts in primary rates and a slight easing of the banking liquidity deficit, while secondary‑market yields moved in mixed directions across tenors. Analysts expect continued central‑bank intervention and a consolidation phase in the bond market.
