Morocco's Auto Market Gains 22% Year‑to‑Date as February Sales Jump 8.8%
The Moroccan automotive sector kept its upward momentum in early 2026. February saw 17,143 vehicles sold, an 8.79% increase over the same month a year earlier, while cumulative deliveries for the first two months rose by 22.14% compared with the end of February 2025. Passenger cars led the growth with a 24.17% year‑over‑year rise, and light commercial vehicles also posted solid gains, up 8.95% from February 2025.

February 2026 delivered 17,143 new vehicle registrations, marking an 8.79% year‑over‑year increase. When combined with January’s figures, total deliveries for the first two months of the year reached 37,564 units, a rise of 22.14% compared with the same period in 2025.
Breakdown by Segment
- Passenger Cars (VP): 33,086 registrations – up 24.17% YoY.
- Light Commercial Vehicles (VUL): 4,478 units sold – up 8.95% YoY.
