Following a board meeting held on March 6, 2026, the Société Nationale d’Électrolyse et de Pétrochimie (SNEP) confirmed the appointment of Ali Alami as its new Chief Executive Officer, replacing Fayçal El Kadiri.

Professional Background

Alami is a graduate of the Mohammadia School of Engineers and holds an MBA from the École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées. He launched his career at the OCP Group before moving on to senior roles in both national and international industrial conglomerates, where he acquired a reputation for strategic governance, industrial performance, and organizational transformation.

  • 2018 – Joined the YNNA Group as head of the Société Chérifienne d’Industrie Ferroviaire (SCIF), steering its industrial development.
