Holmarcom and BNP Paribas Enter Exclusive Talks
Holmarcom Finance Company announced that it has begun exclusive discussions with BNP Paribas regarding a possible acquisition of BNP’s 67 % stake in BMCI. The Moroccan banking group has been a shareholder in BMCI for 30 years, and the potential deal could reshape the local financial landscape.
According to a statement from Holmarcom, the talks are still at a preliminary stage. “We will communicate in due course if the project materialises and complies with the applicable regulations,” the group said.
