Morocco’s Mohammed VI Investment Fund Reviews 2025 Performance and Sets 2026 Action Plan

Board of Directors convenes in Rabat
On 29 January 2026, the Board of Directors of the Mohammed VI Investment Fund (FM6I) met at its headquarters in Rabat. The session was chaired by Madame Nadia FETTAH, Minister of Economy and Finance, and attended by senior ministers—including the Minister of Energy Transition, the Minister of Tourism, and the Minister delegated for Investment—as well as the Director General of the Fund, Nezha HAYAT, and top public‑sector officials.
2025 performance review
Director General Nezha HAYAT presented the Fund’s 2025 results, underscoring progress across direct, indirect and innovative financing instruments that align with the strategic objectives set by His Majesty King Mohammed VI. The achievements aim to boost productive investment, enhance the capacity of Moroccan enterprises and contribute to sustainable, inclusive growth and job creation.
Outlook and 2026 action plan
The Board examined the investment outlook for 2026 and approved a strategic action plan designed to solidify FM6I’s role as a catalyst for national economic priorities. Key pillars of the plan include expanding capital‑raising mechanisms, strengthening private‑sector participation, and channeling funds into sectors highlighted in the High‑Level Orientations of the King.
