Morocco has reinforced its energy security strategy, ensuring stable electricity production and fuel supplies for the coming months. Minister Leila Benali announced robust supply guarantees through diversified imports from the U.S., South America, and Europe, alongside strategic energy stocks sufficient to meet demand through June.

The government has allocated DH 1.6 billion to stabilize energy prices, including DH 600 million in subsidies for cooking gas (now priced at DH 78/kg, down from DH 30/kg pre-war). Additionally, DH 400 million monthly support targets the electricity sector, while fuel price adjustments for transport professionals average DH 3/liter.

The Competition Council maintains price transparency, noting partial impacts from international oil price fluctuations. Operational continuity measures include territorial monitoring teams and a 24/7 national energy laboratory tracking supply-demand dynamics.
