The Casablanca Stock Exchange witnessed a welcome reversal on Thursday, September 3, 2026, as the main MASI index regained positive momentum after enduring five consecutive sessions of losses. The benchmark closed 1.04% higher at 18,710 points, signaling renewed investor confidence across Morocco's equity market.
Trading Activity Remains Robust
Market liquidity remained healthy with the central market registering 546 million dirhams in trading volume. Telecommunications giant Maroc Telecom dominated the day's transactions, accounting for 76 million dirhams alone and confirming its position as one of the market's most actively traded securities.
Broad-Based Rally Across Indices

The derivatives market mirrored the cash market's bullish tone, with all MASI20 Future contracts posting gains. The July 2027 contract stood at 1,345.70 points (+1.10%), followed by March 2027 at 1,347.80 points (+1.05%), September 2026 at 1,352.20 points (+1.07%), and December 2026 at 1,349.80 points (+1.09%).
