Market Overview
The Casablanca Stock Exchange (CSE) recorded a negative close on Tuesday, with the benchmark MASI index slipping 0.42% to 17,800.62 points. This moves the year‑to‑date underperformance of the index to 5.55%.
Meanwhile, the MASI 20 basket, which tracks the top‑weighted equities, fell 0.15% to 1,311.73 points.
Trading Activity
Total turnover on the main market remained robust, reaching 268 million Moroccan dirhams (MAD). The most active share was Attijariwafa Bank, with 20.9 million MAD traded, though its price slipped 0.15% to 678 MAD.
T2S Group IPO – A Sharp Pull‑back
The newly listed T2S Group attracted 85 million MAD in trading volume. After soaring almost 20% on its debut, the stock corrected 9.55% to finish the session at 242 MAD.
Top Gainer
Among the day's performers, Zellidja led the gains ledger, rising 6.34% to 229.70 MAD.
Market Capitalisation
The overall market capitalisation slipped to 1.029 trillion MAD, down from 1.035 trillion MAD in the previous session.
