TGCC Advances Major Hospital Project in the Democratic Republic of Congo

Moroccan infrastructure leader TGCC is moving closer to the construction phase of a landmark hospital project in the Democratic Republic of Congo, signaling a significant boost to its international portfolio.

TGCC has announced that the financing for the 'Infirmière Maman Marthe Kasalu' hospital complex has entered its final stage, clearing the path for the immediate launch of construction works. The project is located in Kia Mona, within the urban expansion zone of Kinshasa, the DRC capital.

High-Level Meetings in Kinshasa

TGCC President and CEO Mohammed Bouzoubaa, alongside partner organization IIDG represented by Dina El Fallahi, held meetings in Kinshasa with Thierry Katembwe Mbala, Director General of the Strategic Committee for the Supervision of the Kinshasa City Extension Project (CSSPEVK). Discussions centered on the upcoming milestones, including the commencement of construction and the mobilization of the teams required for execution.

Led by TGCC Développement, the project encompasses the full design, construction, and equipping of a state-of-the-art medical complex. Key details include:

• Total Capacity: 200 hospital beds
• Facilities: A 150-bed multidisciplinary hospital and a dedicated 50-bed oncology center
• Built Area: 29,000 square meters
• Land: 5 hectares
• Investment: €133 million
