Segment Breakdown: Passenger Cars Outpace Commercials
- Passenger Vehicles (VP): 165,764 units sold, up 34.7% year-over-year. This segment continues to be the primary growth engine, driven by renewed consumer confidence and attractive financing offers.
- Light Commercial Vehicles (VUL): 22,731 units delivered, surging 43.9%. The sharp rise reflects expanding business activity, particularly in logistics, construction, and last-mile delivery services.
Outlook
With three quarters of consistent growth, 2026 is shaping up to be a record year for Morocco's automotive sector. Industry analysts point to stable macroeconomic conditions, improving household purchasing power, and fleet renewal cycles as key tailwinds likely to sustain momentum into year-end.
