Oulmès Navigates Consolidation Headwinds as Revenue Growth Remains Robust
Les Eaux Minérales d'Oulmès has unveiled its interim financial results for the first half of 2026, revealing a mixed performance that has drawn attention from investors on the Casablanca Stock Exchange.
The company's consolidated net profit attributable to the group fell sharply by 35.7% to 20.5 million dirhams, compared to 31.8 million dirhams in the same period last year. Similarly, consolidated operating income declined by 8.2%, reaching 97.3 million dirhams. The company attributes this downward trend primarily to consolidation adjustments rather than underlying operational weaknesses.
Revenue Momentum Intact Despite Profit Pressure
On the top line, Oulmès demonstrated impressive resilience. Consolidated revenue surged 8.7% to 1,653.9 million dirhams, up from the first half of 2025. According to the company's official communiqué, this growth was fueled by:
- Strong performance of the company's historic brands
- Gaining traction with newly launched product references
- Continued innovation across the product portfolio
- Optimization of distribution networks
- Enhanced industrial and operational efficiency measures
Parent Company Accounts Tell a Different Story
The individual (social) accounts of the company present a notably more optimistic picture. Key figures from the standalone accounts include:
- Net profit: rose 8.9% to 36.1 million dirhams
- Operating income: gained 9.1% to 100.9 million dirhams
- Revenue: climbed 8.8% to 1,620.2 million dirhams
ESG Commitments Strengthened
Oulmès has also highlighted significant achievements in corporate social and environmental responsibility. The company secured the GEEIS label, renewed its RSE certification from the CGEM accompanied by the RSE Trophy, and obtained ISO 50001 certification for its energy management system.
