Moroccan Treasury Raises DH 2.5 bn in Bond Auction, Yields Tick Higher
On 10 March 2026 the Moroccan Treasury auctioned government securities and attracted DH 7.66 billion of demand, allocating DH 2.5 billion to the 52‑week and 5‑year series. Yields on both tenors rose, signalling renewed tension in the short‑ and medium‑term part of the curve after a calm period. The settlement is set for 16 March 2026, and no allocations were made to the 26‑week and 15‑year issues.

Bond Auction Overview – 10 March 2026
The Moroccan Treasury held an auction on 10 March 2026, raising DH 2.5 billion against a total investor demand of DH 7.66 billion.
- 52‑week Treasury bills: DH 1.4 billion allocated; yield 2.393 %, up 7.4 basis points from the previous TMP.
- 5‑year Treasury bonds: DH 1.1 billion allocated; yield 2.848 %, up 10 basis points from the previous TMP.
- No allocation was made to the 26‑week and 15‑year series.
The increase in yields marks a return of tension to the short‑ and medium‑term end of the yield curve after a recent period of calm. Settlement is scheduled for 16 March 2026.
