Casablanca Stock Exchange’s MASI Index Closes Friday Up 0.96%, Gains 2.5% Over the Week
The Casablanca Stock Exchange ended the week in positive territory. The flagship MASI index finished Friday at 18,474.84 points, up 0.96% on the day and 2.51% for the week, while the MASI 20 sub‑index rose 1.20% to 1,358.42 points. Trading volume stayed modest at roughly 226 million Moroccan dirhams, with Attijariwafa Bank, Marsa Maroc and TGCC leading the activity. Among movers, Sothema posted a 4.74% gain, whereas Cartier Saada fell 7.57%. The total market capitalization reached 1.057 trillion dirhams.

The broader MASI 20 followed suit, climbing 1.20 % to finish at 1,358.42 points, delivering a weekly rise of 1.89 %.
Trading activity remained moderate, with a total turnover of 226 million Moroccan dirhams on the central market.
