June 2026 Sees Approximately 13 Billion Dirhams Raised in Morocco’s Capital Markets
Morocco’s capital market kept momentum in June, with fresh funding of about 13.36 billion dirhams. The bulk of the inflow came from negotiable debt securities and bond issuances, while equity‑linked instruments contributed a modest 822 million dirhams. Overall, total capital raised to date stands at 55.04 billion dirhams, up from the previous year’s level.

According to the latest monthly figures released by the Moroccan Capital Market Authority (AMMC), the total amount of capital raised in Morocco reached 55.04 billion dirhams by the end of June 2026, up from 53.72 billion dirhams at the same point last year.
June’s Fresh Capital Inflow
In June alone, issuers secured 13.359 billion dirhams. The composition of this amount was:
- Negotiable Debt Securities (TCN): 6.487 billion dirhams
- Bond Issuances: 6.050 billion dirhams
- Equity‑Linked Instruments: 0.822 billion dirhams
Bond and Debt‑Security Trends
Cumulative bond issuances stood at 14.350 billion dirhams by the end of June 2026, down from 23.300 billion dirhams a year earlier. In contrast, TCN issuances grew to 39.288 billion dirhams, compared with 28.449 billion dirhams in June 2025.
Loan‑Borrow Activity
The outstanding value of securities loan‑borrow operations was 47.9 billion dirhams at the end of June, a 9 % decline since the start of the year but a 31 % rise over the previous twelve months. Monthly transaction volume hit 45.8 billion dirhams, up 38 % from May.
These figures illustrate a robust financing environment, with a noticeable shift toward short‑term debt instruments.
