Under the agreement, Marsa Maroc will handle every phase: design, financing, construction, layout, equipment supply, commercial operation and ongoing maintenance. The new terminal will feature a quay that is 71 metres long with a water depth (draft) of 16.5 metres, enabling the handling of larger vessels.

This expansion is intended to support the rising domestic demand for petroleum products while bolstering Marsa Maroc’s capabilities in the liquid‑bulk segment at Jorf Lasfar.
