Casablanca Exchange MASI Eases –0.22% as Geopolitics & Oil Keep Traders Sidelined

A short-lived morning rebound fizzled on the Casablanca Stock Exchange Thursday, leaving the flagship MASI index down 0.22% at 18,063 points. Renewed doubts over the U.S.–Iran cease-fire and a fresh spike in crude prices curbed risk appetite, while turnover stayed moderate at 305 million dirhams. Year-to-date, the index is now off 4.16%.
